Backyard cabin Sicilia 20m² - Pop-up restaurant at Iconic place in Sydney

This week our beautiful cabin Sicilia 20m² will be built in 1 day by our great Custom Creations team in an iconic place in Sydney, the Hickson Road Reserve. Our Sicilia studio will proudly be a part of an amazing project and set up as a Pop-up Restaurant with epic views to top 2 iconic landmarks in Sydney – Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

Custom Creations and YZY kit homes teams will be on site Tuesday August 15, 2017, so if you wish to see the cabin going up, come down and say ‘hi’ to our always-smiling team. If you want to see it done and dusted, this Scandinavian cabin will be on display over the two following days, Wednesday and Thursday, 16 and 17 August, welcome to view!

Update – 16 August 2017

Now that it’s public – honor to announce that our Scandinavian cabin is a part of IKEA’s Growroom launch in Sydney. IKEA Shared Dining Experience will be held inside our Sicilia Panorama 20 studio and will feature iconic IKEA foods with fresh ingredients picked straight from the critically-acclaimed Growroom. It’s the first time the spherical urban garden is built and showcased in Australia.

This event will coincide with the release of IKEA Australia’s People & Planet Positive Report 2017 which indicates that one day we will be living in an environment so packed with people that we will need to learn how to grow produce for ourselves and how to share produce. Dining experience will educate diners about ways we can help each other out and share.

So come down and learn more about Tomorrow’s Sustainable Community as IKEA shares its view on sustainability and what the future may bring.
